PipJazz Sundays & sponsors Wells Pianos are committed to bringing the art of jazz to the Landmark Center Twin Cities venue while providing professional performance opportunities for students within area jazz programs and subsequently bringing them to you, the PipJazz Sundays audience. We are proud to have the Twin Cities Jazz Society additionally sponsoring this show. Three talented youth will be featured within the November program; DeCarlo Jackson from the St Paul Conservatory of Performing Arts, Quentin Tschofen - freshman at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, and Jordan Anderson who currently attends Nova Classical Academy in St. Paul as an 8th grader in the school of logic.

Gary Schulte is a jazz violinist to whom Stephane Grappelli gave his most sincere blessing. Schulte’s duo with France’s top cellist-improvisor, Didier Petit, at Minnesota Sur Seine 2008 was called one of the highlights of the festival. A veteran of A Prairie Home Companion, Schulte has collaborated with a diverse crew that has included Gypsy Jazz guitarist legend Dorado Schmit, David Byrne, Dionne Warwick, Butch Thompson, Dean Magraw, Ballet of the Dolls,
Radio Personality, Jazz/ R&B Singer, Radio Jazz Show Host
Patty Peterson was born into the renowned musical Peterson Family which boasts mother Jeanne Arland Peterson, sister Linda Peterson, and three brothers, Billy Peterson, Ricky Peterson and Paul Peterson; all of whom are recording artists and involved in the international music scene. Patty began singing as a child at concerts and recording sessions, and today is an award winning vocalist both live and in studio for national recording artists and commercials.
